Grabyo promotional video
Challenge
Grabyo are a cloud based video production company who are revolutionising the way content is created. While working at The Fold, the team developed a rebrand of Grabyo'‘s identity which culminated in a redesign of all brand assets, logo and website. My involvement led to the production of an animated promotional video which followed The Fold’s directed visual narrative.
Solution
We positioned the video to be exciting, engaging and to ultimately address the key benefits of using Grabyo’s online tool. We produced scenarios that demonstrated the UX and UI design’s capabilities, all while helping to bring to life the exciting features it has to offer. Graphical motifs led the visual narrative of the video helping to connect the visual look and feel of the brand across online and offline media.
The team at The Fold developed the overarching visual motif. This involved the use of digital aspect ratios used across video and online production to build the brandmark forming the letter G. These windows became a playful tool to present media within. They provided multiple avenues for the brand to explore allowing a flexibility in the deign language and opportunity for Grabyo to evolve over time.
The dynamic visual language of Grabyo’s newly formed brand set the tone for content creation, online presence and represented the company’s work. This involved the exploration and use of motifs, such as the timeline as seen in video production. The kinetic aspect ratios were once used again here to form timelines and provide a flexible backdrop for online resources, website and content production.
